Maison Sassa Aïssou – Poet, Athlete, Dreamer

Maison Sassa Aïssou is a New York–based Algerian poet, designer, and visual artist whose work bridges literature, couture, and existential beauty.

Born in Algeria and shaped by the golden dunes of her homeland, she represented her country on the world stage as an Olympian before turning to the art that lived in her heart since childhood.

Her debut memoir-in-poetry, Echo of My Heart, became the foundation for her creative universe — a literary and emotional journey that later gave birth to Maison Sassa Aïssou™, a poetic couture house where emotion becomes design and identity becomes light.

Today, Sassa builds a timeless world where poetry, fashion, and art converge. Maison Sassa Aïssou™ is known for its golden heart emblem — a symbol of resilience, softness, and the quiet power of feminine identity.

From Algeria’s golden dunes to New York’s skylines, Sassa’s work embodies a rare duality:

fragility and strength, silence and elegance, memory and creation.

She now stands at the intersection of literature and couture, crafting a legacy meant to inspire women to rise, create, and remember the light they carry.

Powerful, honest, and deeply moving. Sassa’s poetry flows like a heartbeat — reminding us that identity is not a place, but a feeling we carry within
